Congratulations to the winners of the One Color contest. There were over 350 exciting entries from artist all around the world. We saw some of the best in texture, illustration, and cool new ideas. Check out the top 3 winners...
The first place prize goes to Skulltapus by Shawn Coss. This is his first win at Design By Humans and a beauty indeed. He recognized the all over tee style with a cool concept, not to mention great detail and texture throughout the design. It's not everyday you see a skull with octopus legs, which could be the skeleton of Cthulhu or a highly evolved sea creature.
Coming up in second was "Choose your Flowers Carefully" by Samalope. An interesting concept with skulls blossoming like roses. The bees don't seem to mind the human skulls have replaced a few of the rose buds. Interesting design, good textures, and composition on this one color winner.
To round things off we have "Inked Cat," he has joined the popular trend of big animal faces. You can look right into the cat's eyes to see an intense look, accented with cute whiskers and hair. Moncheng made interesting textures within the cats face, hair, whiskers and eyes to make a nice 3rd place finish.
